9. It is so awful that the Asian and Islander members of our communities are being targeted. I live in Wyoming, where hundreds of Japanese Americans were kept in camps over unjustified fears that they were working for the Japanese military. They didn’t deserve discrimination then and they don’t deserve it all now.

You look at the statistics on who assaults Asian People in the U.S. realizing its not the majority group committing crimes against Asians but instead its another minority group committing a ton of these crimes against the Asian Community yet the Media and Politicians try to lay the blame on COVID-19 instead of confronting this problem head on.

Because It’s manipulative & misleading. For an act to be considered a “hate crime” a prosecutor has to first PROVE that the crime was motivated by racism. That it wasn’t just a random robbery or assault. Which is hard to prove in court. So how can you prove “Asian hate crimes” are up 76% when you don’t even have a solid suspect? Who hates Asians? Black people? White people? Spanish people? Or everyone?? 🤷🏽
