26. My point being is, that our country called the USA, has one of the most relaxed criminal justice system in the world. That’s the issue. We should not have the parents sit at home but at the very least the authorities could have had them detained for further questioning in a jail cell until proven innocent or guilty. When it’s proven that they assisted in the murder, that’s when they should just officially arrest them. Again, the problem what I have, is that there not holding them in a jail cell. By being detained (not arrested), you can still hold a subject in jail during an investigation but not officially charged in a crime.
