    Too many times, hearing about gun crimes, one would say tougher gun laws: but legal gun owners aren't the problem; it's people with criminal intent with a firearm, used in a crime that's the problem. Whether it is a stolen gun, or a makeshift weapon: the laws aren't getting through to them; they are getting off to easy. What is needed is reform in the punishment for these crimes. They need too fix the broken loop holes by: giving 15 years for the use of a firearm in a crime, along with sentencing; and triple the sentence where a death has occurred, and remove the plea bargain option. That deceased person didn't have a option. There time would be straight time, NO concurrent time allowed. If they end up with a death sentence, then carry it out within the first ten years.
    There will be a change if they know its no longer a cake walk. Prosecute even those whom are gang members and underage, especially involving illegal drugs.
    This is the best solution for the 2nd amendment. Law abiding citizens shouldn't have there world turned up side down for protecting their home, life, and family from a clear a present threat, our framing fathers wouldn't have felt any different.
