Zimmerman was vilified by the press and pursued by special interest groups ad infinitum, which resulted in death threats, one failed murder attempt and assaults. His life was destroyed. The parents of Trayvon Martin had knowledge of the witness switch and said nothing. Be careful who you label as the victims here. George Zimmerman was acquitted of murder, but he would never have been charged but for the switch. The mother of Martin has a vested interest in maintaining the fraud, she has made a lucrative career out of her son's death.
