Hug your family members today. Stuff like this can happen at any time. A (roughly translated) quote from a woman in Japan who survived a tsunami, only to lose her husband and daughter when they went on a fishing trip: “I treat every person like it is the last time I am going to see them.†Truly so sad for everyone who lost so much in this disaster ):
(Yes I know there were problems with this condo or whatever but I’m talking about disasters in general can happen at any time to anyone)
ðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂðŸ˜ÂÂ
Blessed Mother you take over. xoxo
Why? We know there's not a chance anyone survived that especially the people on the bottom!
I can hear and feel the whole sad thing.
The whole life for an apartment every cent. No one had the money the real deal is with management should of previews a loan based on amount to overall end sale price . But let's face it the owners are to be held accountable in fact they payed with their lives for this mistake.
The warranty for homes is normally around seven years, that's it after that the owners must maintain. Looking for scapegoats against the truth of how Americans don't want to pay to maintain their own homes. Trying to say that it should last for a thousand years. I should never have to pay a cent.
There are over one thousand unit apartment along the strip and area that have the same faults.
This is that moment When adults take over and for X what needs to be fixed.is fixed.
Instead of slow hand work ..I think excavators digging quik would be better for thirsty victims ..yes it is a blunt instrument but it can be done precise with a good operator
If I ever considered buying a condo, those thoughts are long gone. To ask residents for $16million is ridiculous, especially since it could have been a design flaw or substandard materials. Buyers have no way of knowing that.
My husband talked me out of a waterfront condo about 10 years ago, because it was the top floor and he didn't like the fact that tons of weight was right over our heads with huge air conditioning units placed on the rooftop. He said that was an accident waiting to happen, plus those units leak and one day that ceiling would come down right on top of us. Glad I paid attention to his concerns and stayed in my house.
Come on ….We need more people to clear….TIME.IS CRUCIAL 🙠😥 ðŸ˜â€Â
Proof ur not even safe in your own home ðŸ™ÂÂ
Its a slow process but the mayor do not want outside help??? Prayers to everyone involved
Benjamin Franklin famously advised fire-threatened Philadelphians in 1736 that “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.â€ÂÂ
When we say that prevention is better than cure, it essentially means that it is better to stop something before it happens instead of having to repair it or deal with its consequences after it has already been done.
That proverb was applied and practiced in 1736 and it is still relevant today.

I’m from Burmese country. Hope that some people are still alive and GOD protect you all. This a few month a lot of people also died for democracy in my country.
Thoughts and prayers from Russia. What a shocking tragedy! I have no words and been crying for days. Very sorry for the people who lost their lives too soon, especially for the children who will never fulfill their dreams and never experience beautiful sides of life. Families and friends, stay strong. I want to hope that this physical life on earth is not the end and the journey continues on the other side, and we all meet our loved ones sooner or later. Praying for a miracle to let rescuers save more survivors. Brave rescuers, stay safe.
Stop giving people false hope. Denial won’t resurrect these people.
No offense but I don’t t think anyone survived, even if they did survive the collapse at first they probably were severely injured and them not getting medical attention probably killed them
This should show you people outside of Florida how corrupted and how dangerous Florida is that you can pay off almost anybody to get away with anything in the state of Florida…..in that predicament it was the inspectors and the city that got paid off that led to this dangerous deadly situation that killed a lot of people Godspeed and God rest their souls smh 🤦â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ
she mentioned that some people survived after 17 days. How ? after 5 days of not eating anything or drinking anywater you can barely survive, not to mention being under all this rubble for 17 days. hopefully a miracle happens but its so hard to believe
I think Mr Prieto will no longer have a career after this mess. How is that he shows up and says “na, all good people carry onâ€ÂÂ. There was a third party report with pictures to back up the findings. The lawsuits are after the insurance. The board were the owners which are potentially deceased now but hopefully they had an insurance policy for property and catastrophe. And the city will get suit too for hiring incompetent people like Mr. Prieto. The lawyers are already sharping their knives. Sadly, many are scums who do not care about the victims but about their cut % from the settlement.
