6. He died from the SEAL cadre neglecting his medical care. I really see no reason why the steroid use is even apart of this story. Of course our elite soldiers are juicing. That is not a secret and never has been. PEDs should be prescribed to our combat arms personnel. This is a story about the Navy trying to defer blame to “drugs bad” instead of people scrutinizing the training, or lack of medical care that was provided to this guy. What a sad story and pathetic attempt at shifting blame.

8. Military training has always been designed to weed the people with weaker wills, there are ALWAYS injuries death and drop-outs. There is no combat military training that is easy, it's designed to help you survive and win in the battle field. That's why the cops are so afraid of military vets,, we can fight. From what I've seen of our government lately, it is not worth fighting for. I'm not risking my life for a country that has a double standard and is lawless but uses the law to suppress. The US government is a cesspool of liars, money grabbers, narcissist and sociopaths. It might be worth stopping!

22. I am ashamed of those leaders in the navy. How could they let him go on coughing up blood. That indicates he either had bacterial pneumonia or Tuberculosis which would have infected others. Did they even check his oxygen level or do a chest X-ray or draw blood? Was it avoided to cut costs? This is ridiculous, our military thinks more about boosting their defense stocks than ensuring the safety of our soldiers.

30. Who cares about the drug use. War is unfair and our SEALS should be physically prepped as much as possible. What does matter is why he didn't get the medical attention he should have gotten. That aspect is outrageous. Coughing blood all week and dying of pneumonia at 24 is bizarre. Poor man.
