$1 billion raised to rebuild Paris’ Notre Dame after fire
Nearly 1 billion has already poured in from ordinary worshippers and high-powered magnates around the world to restore the fire-ravaged Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, after the French president set a controversial five-year deadline to get the work done.
Construction teams brought in a huge crane and a delivery of planks of wood to the site Wednesday morning. Firefighters are still examining damage and shoring up the structure after Mondays fire collapsed the cathedrals spire and destroyed the roof.

“That’s a lot of damage†😂
It’s still there though at least the fire didn’t eat all of it <( ; – ;)>
Damn I guess we'll be the last generation to know what Notre Dame looked like before the fire it won't ever be the same after they rebuild it
Can someone explain what happened and why it’s sad and all that
Direct Energy hit?
why isis did not clime it?
iluminati conjsvsjzhuxxkxnbdksl
Dam som, they going to need to murder a bunch of trees now to rebuild that.
The spire fell through the roof in front of alter leaving hole
the shape of a heart in the vaulted ceiling.see drone footage.
Sacrifice is necessary in the masonry world why you think billionaires wanna fix it cause that's where they do there rituals just speaking facts open your mf eyes
And yet parts of the scaffolding didn’t even falter.
Looks like a petrol fire to me…I wonder why they would keep that in the Cathedral?….Someone in NYC just got arrested for having petrol and lighters in the cathedral there. Obviously a complete coincidence and not a global terror threat…but…I bet there is security at a lot of cathedrals this Easter…
So sad
Time to MOAB the dome of the rock.
I don't get what all the hoopla is about it's just a building that has nothing to do with God. People always want to look towards the structure to find God when the temple of God is inside us. People are down pouring Millions upon millions of dollars to rebuild this structure but these same people won't shed a dime for the hungry kids that are in other countries and are in our own streets. Some of you will say well that's your parents fault and that's their fault that they are in the streets. Well if you're so worried about a structure of God then why don't you worry about the one thing guy really cares about, people.
Sounds like someone wants to generate a billion, maybe a drones faulty battery caused this?
The moment you see christine totaled
muslim jihadists in full force burning down churches all over europe
Salisbury Cathedral is gonna tip over soon
Now it can be rebuilt as a mosque…
1 down 37 million more to go $1billion to restore a god damn church that money could go to BETTER CAUSES! MAKES ME PUKE
Ok Duolingo has taken it way too far
They're wasting no time saving that statue, maybe they think that wall could topple.
FRANCE SURRENDERS!
The iconic cathedral #NotreDame is being rebuilt as a mosque, per #EmmanuelMacron
"we Frenchies are secular; catholic faith has too many restrictions; #Islam is the way forward. For tourism, there's greater pilgrims in hijabs, so it's practical"
The council on French Islamic relations takes ownership of the iconic structure; #minarets to be constructed first.
I didn't care much for this church. Now that it burned down, I might actually consider visiting it
When you forget to turn off fire spread
They're making a big deal how long it took to put this fire out (9 hours) but by comparison it took fire fighters 15 hours to put out the Windsor Castle fire and there were people actually in the Queen's private chapel at the time where it started–a spot light caught the curtains on fire and it spread very fast. The damage was extensive and took 3 years to restore.
