  1. The only two school shootings that happened in Mexico were in private schools, this in fact was in one of the most exclusive in Torreón. The boy was orphaned of parents and his grandfather encouraged him to hunt (weapons and hunting are prohibited in Mexico). And the boy for attention decided to do his stupidity based on Columbine, because he was dressed as Eric and Dylan …
In fact, the grandpa with his money scape from the country. Public schools don't have this problem because in México, teachers check the backpacks and don't need permission of the student!

  2. Ok so Im from mexico and my literature teacher after this won't let us go to the bathroom bc she was scared this happened
But I'm quarantined so I can do whatever I want

  3. I am honestly disgusted by how people could be so ignorant as to think that this 11-year-old child, who is barely any younger than I am, would do something like this because of video games. It's only five months later, and already most of the world has forgotten this ever happened. This child obviously was not just influenced by goddam video games, nobody would just open fire on these people, and then end their own life. A child would not just end their life because of a VIDEO GAME. If the world was so ignorant that they couldn't see that maybe something was wrong before, that he may have thought that he was so worthless he needed to end his life. Maybe he really did have dark thoughts and want to hurt other people – in fact, he probably did, and if he was suffering inside and nobody saw, well, I don't blame him. But I feel like the story just diverted so much from the stone-hard fact that this kid is eleven years old, and his life will now be nothing but eleven short years, maybe eleven short and bitter years, and will never be anything more. He never had a chance to experience the beauties that life has to offer. A child will not do this to himself because of a video game. It was clearly something bigger, but the world will never know. All I can hope is that his family found a way to understand, to see why he did what he did and why he chose to end himself. And to think that this isn't even the last time something like this will happen–children and teens are still suffering, and probably want to end themselves too, but when you don't look, that's so hard to see, and even if you are looking, it's still pretty hard. I can't believe that they could do something like this. It's still definitely not right that he killed a teacher and shot six classmates, but we need to understand that this kid was hurting. Just because it seemed like he was perfectly fine and stable on the outside means absolutely nothing. Why did this story show up one night for ninety seconds and then the next day, bam, it doesn't matter anymore, and IT DOES MATTER. The world needs to see that kids like him are hurting too, and we need to save them! We can save them, but only if we look. I have no way of knowing if this kid really was hurting inside, but why would he end himself for any other reason? And how could the world have forgotten him so easily? We never got any follow-up story. They didn't even think this kid was worth two minutes of the day. And he was. Everyone is. And we need to understand that a lot of people really don't think they are worth that much. I want to make this child remembered, if only to show what can happen when we don't make sure our children know that they matter and they are not worthless.

Sorry this comment was so long, but thanks if you read the whole thing.
