Curtis Reeves ‘popcorn murder’ trial underway in Florida

4. A hope this piece of human trash goes to jail for the rest of his life. He walked around pissed off at the world and trying to pick a fight with anybody while carrying a deadly weapon. When I’m carrying my weapon (concealed bc I don’t want others to know) I know it’s even more important to avoid or de-escalate any type of conflict. I don’t tail a$$holes on the road bc people are crazy and I don’t want to get shot.

6. A young strong guy is yelling at an old man and we are wondering why the old man shot him? People really hate police. I hope these same people are good with a 40 year old guy yelling profanities at their elderly parents.

8. Reeve's claim on the witness stand that he felt his life was in danger by a larger man doesn't work. If he felt threatened by Oulson, he wouldn't have started an argument with him in the first place. He would have just moved to another seat at the very beginning. No doubt the gun Reeves brought with him into the theater predisposed him to be aggressive, just as it does in countless other murders. Yet bringing a gun with him wherever he goes suggests a man already chronically frightened and aggressive. Reeves had a history of provoking confrontations with people minding their own business. Reeves went into that theater looking for someone to bully, and someone died for it. If Reeves is acquitted, nobody will be safe anymore, because gun-carrying aggressors like Reeves will be going around provoking confrontations, knowing they just have to say they feared for their lives and they'll walk away feeling proud of their murder.

Well justice has been long overdue and his stories and denials lend credence to the face reeves has no remorse and has no respect for human life. He needs jail like 8 years ago! What are we talking about it for? This has always been an open and shut case. No one is above the law
