33. The India immigration application is more than the sum of immigrants from all other countries. Several times..

34. There are many American doctors not allowed to practice medicine in this country because they could not get in a residency program. A number of tax payer funded residency programs in the US select their residents based mostly on the US MLE test scores. Some overseas graduates some how get a higher test scores than the US doctors . ( It May be because the foreign doctors spent an enormous amount of time to study for the test where as our US citizen doctors have other obligations like working to pay off their huge student loans). While I do have sympathy to the oversea doctors, I think we have an obligation to fill all the residency programs with our local doctors first before consider foreigners. Every other countries does that , why not us?
