Darlene Quinn was all tears and smiles as she went outside to see her 2014 Chevy Captiva; she had previously been walking a total of 24 miles to and from work.

To walk to and from work shows that this is what hard working people do in life.

Now she needs to get on Ellen’s 12 days of giveaways. Very deserving woman.
america…americaaaaa america
Shame on FedEx for not paying their workers. Having to walk in the middle of the night to work is awful
Theirs no bus
Outstanding! God be the glory! Bless this woman, Father!

That was nice
Love this heart warming story but there are so many questions here.
1. Did her coworkers all live within the 12miles of work so no one could drive her ever?
2. Did they give her rides but then got sick of it so they bought the car?
3. No bus anywhere?
4. No Uber?
5. No love ones to ever drop her off?
6. Is it possible that she hitch hiked?
7. What happened when her car did get fixed? Two cars?
8. What's up with a bike? Would you not buy a bike on Craigslist after just a few days?
FedEx doesn’t pay its workers enough money so this poor woman can get some new clothes and bicycle even? And there’s public transport option either? Thank God for those good people who helped her out. Shame on her company and on the local authorities who allowed people like her to go on suffering.
The only thing my co-workers put effort into is avoiding work.
There are still a lot of good people left in this world
I used to see her walk down the street all the time.. what a blessing !
They bought her a chevy🤦â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ
Proof that not all is bad on planet Earth. There are still hard working people and there are still kind and generous people.
She deserves it ðŸ‘ÂÂ
Awesome people!

Sounds like a bullshit story to me.
Walking 12 miles to be at work at 4am and then another 12 mile walk home? 5 days/week? Are there no cabs, buses, trains, Ãœber, Lyft, family, friends, neighbors or even her adult children to help her? Ever?! How long a walk is this?? Four hours each way??
On behalf of my family I say thank you to best coworkers. Thank you for being the best.
Back in my day I walked 24 miles to get to work… no really… 24 miles
I hate these kinds of stories. Maybe implement a better mass transit system or make it so that someone working 40hrs a week isn't living in poverty and can at least afford to get to work/pay rent/have food. Get out of here with this BS.
A Chevy Captiva? I hope they gave her money for repair bills too! 😄
Christmas came early this year. Go Darlene and her co-workers! <3
That means FedEx needs to pay there workers a living wage
24 miles everyday?! What's worse, another 24 miles to return home. Total 48 miles a day!! However she may be strong phyiscally and mentally, it's extremely ridiculous! Fedex executives must blame themselves for the female handler's extreme struggle. By the way, I wonder if there hasn't been any kind of public transportation that could've helped her easily go to work. Also, I'm a little concerned that she may not afford to maintain the vehicle because she will have to pay for gases and pay taxes and insurance premiums levied on the car. God bless her! God bless her warm-hearted coworkers!
Glad to hear her coworkers stepped up to fill the gap left in her wages by her employer.
There are still good out here…
What a lovely thing. Thank you so very much for posting some good news! We need that, there’s so much bad stuff going around. I had to watch one good thing before I went to bed, I see Trump everywhere, and it’s killing me. Thank you so much. For all the wonderful people that shipped in, and for the beautiful lady, God bless you and thank you!
United we are stronger

That car isn't new it's used a 2014 car in 2019 is 5yrs old.
â¤ï¸ÂÂâ¤ï¸ÂÂâ¤ï¸ÂÂâ¤ï¸ÂÂâ¤︠y’all made me cry.
You know what’s sad is that FedEx pays their workers shit so coworkers have to step up to help her. This is an indictment of corporations in this country
Wonderful! Thank you for that story! What an inspiration!💕
Omg that’s just brought me to tears! How sweet!!!!
ðŸ¤â€â€ÃƒÂ°Ã…¸Â¤â€â€ÃƒÂ°Ã…¸Â¤â€â€
Buy her a pair of jeans!!
all that kindness and all that money… then went ahead buy a crappy car
Shit I cried
