  1. if the school doesn't get money, it can not function, just like any business. If you don't like the cost of the over priced school don't go, there is a much cheaper alternative community college

  2. I started a petition to help American college students struggling to get the finances for their education during COVID-19. Here is the link to the petition for anyone who wants to sign and please pass the petition on: http://chng.it/rnt2znfh. My goal is to get 100,000 signatures but we need about 1,000,000 signatures because this is extremely important since it is hard for American college students to pay their student loans and tuition on their own without a job.

  3. Is anyone talking about the CSU and UC systems being sued due to price gouging students during Covid-19?

CSUDH in particular is one school that continued to charge full tuition throughout 2020 for services and on-campus instruction not received. Not to mention they put additional requirements and more fees in place for graduating students knowing that students are unable to meet requirements from the impact of Covid-19 to fulfill those very requirements. This is happening all over California and the Nation.
I'D PROPOSE SIMILAR CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS FOR SCHOOLS AT ALL LEVELS FROM TAXPAYERS.

  5. Unless it is a private college or a private university, colleges and universities get funded by the state as well. The costs of online classes are cheaper for the university since they do not have to pay as much for electricity, water, food, etc. to cool and heat classrooms, residence halls, etc, feed students and staff the dining halls, student centers, libraries, etc. These students deserve a refund. There is no complete and adequate substitute for the traditional physical classroom when it comes to education.

  6. Colleges will disappear. Cannot charge full pop for online classes. No campus will be needed,no expensive deans or what ever…………..things change. Online learning centers will be the future.

  7. Don't take a technical gap year but take as little classes as you can online. That way, you still have a secure spot at your university while also staying ahead on your credits (however shitty online is). I know it sucks. I hate online classes but this might be the reality for the next year or so. I'm also a little biased because I'm paying in state tuition for free with no debt because of bright futures and other scholarships so my advice may not be the most compatible.

  8. This is classic example of why college is a scam. Students never get their money's worth. If you buy a meal from a restaurant and the meal is not cooked right they will usually give you a new meal or your money back. Not with college. Once they have your money your screwed.

  9. Partial refunds for tuition is reasonable if you are going to an Ivy League institution. These students did not sign up for online classes. They signed up for all the bells and whistles…

  10. Losing money they saving money on electricity, water, heating, and etc the list goes on for days wtf!!!!! That’s BS!!!!! The proffers only show there face and asks does anyone have questions. Thats it! What the hell lower their pay then dammm it! So much money is being saved this is a total lie!

  11. Some of these students are complaining about work after graduation, the unemployment pandemic bill supports recent graduates who have no job after graduation. They receive $735 until July 31st

  12. Students: "Why are you charging me the same amount of money for a fraction of the experience?"
Colleges: "Psh, what are you gonna do about it? Drop out of the dream school you worked hard for years to get into?"
