    We give wild animals like bison and bear space in national parks without demonizing their feeding habits and grazing or hunting grounds, sharks deserve the same respect.

    Sharks attack humans as a defensive strike, because humans are poaching fish or turtles in their hunting grounds, or as curious "nibble" because the human, and/or their surfboard/scuba gear/etc. is an unrecognized object in their territory.
