Christine Brennan: Russia should be banned from next Olympics over doping

1. If the coach had confidence in there work and training. They would trust in their training and her talent. But no one really knows how good she really is because of the drugs. If you are as good as it appears, you wouldn’t have to depend on drugs. But no one will ever know. Sad. It’s sad how far people will go. Come Lord Jesus Christ.

2. I just can't understand why she gets to compete, and keep her medals. Look at all the ones before her that were stripped of it all when they were caught doing. Why is she so special? She isn't, but evidently some think she is

3. OMG… Christine Brennan…is actually NOT telling the truth!!! Kamila was tested 2x before the Olympics…and she was NEGATIVE!!! The "positive" test was the one made in between. And no, Russians are NOT diabolic Christine!!! What a shame.

4. What's the point of watching the Olympics if they allow cheaters to compete. I stopped watching after this came out. If some people get to take performance enhancing drugs it defeats the whole point of the Olympics. Again, I'm not watching this garbage.

9. Christine Brennan is a hack. She's always hated Russia and thrown mud at Russian athletes by implying they all take drugs. She helped destroy this 15 year old girl, now she's shedding crocodile tears for her, and using her as a tool to smear the Russian coaching staff. No wonder Russia will never be a friend to the US, after Russiagate and this type of biased anti-Russian journalism which is so common in the US mainstream media.

21. Why? First of all, doing was IN DECEMBER not during thé olympics, second it was during à Russian compétition ! So it doesn't affect any of the other countries.

22. They’ve done this before and show no willingness to change their behavior. PEDs are the most extreme form of cheating in high level sports, they don’t deserve to qualify for the next several Olympics imo, if for nothing else than to set an example for other countries that rules will actually be enforced, a rule is not a rule unless it is enforced.

23. Unfortunately, a ban does nothing. Russia is already banned, but guess what they can still compete; they just changed to ROC. So it was pointless which is what makes me upset. I do sympathize as this should have been handled better once the positive test was revealed. Girls just won gold and silver and they are so distraught and not even able to be happy about it. Have never felt so emotional but not because it was so fantastic but the spectacle afterwards with those poor girls. Let this be a lesson to the committee that allowed her to skate I think they caused more damage to all parties.

24. She’s gonna ruin her reputation by competing. If she wins ,she will forever be known as a cheater. If she loses, she be the woman the cheated and still lose. Look at Lance Armstrong , Marion Jones…etc
