‘Boyz N the Hood’ director John Singleton dies after suffering major stroke

2. RIP John Singleton! I'm Mexican from LA but watching Boyz N the Hood back in the day told the world what we as Angelinos already knew.

4. John is one of the best directors in the African-American movie making. Again I don't understand why everyone we liked so much suddenly dies age 50 is not old

5. People don’t even realize how powerful Boyz in the hood was, it was such a powerful message and very clear without it being corny

6. They left out four brothers they didn't show that movie

8. Ah strokes are no joke. I had a mini stroke in my early 30s. It was scary. So I quit smoking, retired early, and started drinking wine, in moderation. RiP
