I've got to wonder if this ongoing "humanitarian assistance" that will be provided to a country now governed by extremist Islamist terrorists who have killed many Americans is what they would call "jizyah." This is a tax that Islamist states levy upon non-Muslims in exchange for not being attacked. The Qur'an in Surah 9.29-30 speaks about not making peace with disbelievers in Islam "till they pay the jizyah with a willing hand, being humbled" and the Taliban interpret those verses very literally. This is NOT the kind of humiliated position the great nation that is the USA should be in.
