Its not hard to end half of child poverty when your party pushed 88-115 million more families into whats considered EXTREME poverty (by contrast that number was roughly 40-50 million pre-covid) by keeping their states in totalitarian lockdowns and not letting people work for over a year. All you have to do is tell your fellow democrats to open their states up (which I'm sure they'll jump at the chance to please you) and you've solved the problem you created in the first place. In other words "im going to do nothing but let people return to the life they had and take credit for saving them from my party"
