6. To those calling this a "beauty" competition, actually it is not. It is a scholarship competition. The fact that it has always scored mostly on physical appearance leads everyone to believe it is a beauty competition. But, by definition, it is a scholarship competition.

10. What I take from all of this is that the former Miss Americas are a bunch of entitled malcontents who think because they won in whatever year they can dictate how the pageant goes forward. While those original emails were wrong and hateful, one can see how the former board and directors just got fed up with these women.
