16. Years ago, I heard of a publishing ‘marketing ploy’, that purposefully
    included false information in a piece, by calling attention to it hoping the critics
    will pounce, information so false it would give critics the added ammunition
    needed to give it longer publishing legs and many more eyeballs, then it ever would
    get if it had been presented first as truth without errors.

     

    I’ll never fully understand why journalists that appear on
    television do not realized, willfully understanding they are ‘journalists’ with
    a capital ‘J’, not entertainers with a capital ‘E’, should not be appearing
    hair dyed, greasy lipped, all gussy up as if an entertainer, so many times
    upstaging the news they are supposed to be reporting by exaggerated appearance.
    I suppose the very next time one watches a news program, may fully expect as if
    in attendance at a performance at a music hall, the anchors and reporters may
    entertain with selections from Guys and Dolls…and get this, no one will be
