5. For those of you who haven't seen the updates, there was no social media or internet involved. He picked her randomly after seeing her get off the school bus. He went to the house intending to kill everyone there (except her) so there would be no eye witnesses. He even had to pull over to let cops pass him as he was fleeing the scene.

Guessing he's some "incel" who wanted a girlfriend. Articles said three years ago he had a job at the same turkey plant where her parents worked – but only worked one day, then told the boss he was moving from town (this makes little sense – hard to believe the guy was stalking her for 3 years since she was 10). She met the guy online, has feelings for him, she told her parents about him, they said no, she snapped and he snapped, she gave the man the address to the home, they both plot the murder and fake kidnapping.
