10. Do you have to pay to give birth in the US? I know there's no NHS, but wondered if giving birth is treated as an exemption and thus paid for by the state? (Or medicare, or whatever it's called). I've tried Googling this, but can't seem to find a definitive answer. If you do have to pay, how much does it cost? – literal out-of-pocket with and without private health insurance?

23. I was there in DC as a Pro Life counter-protester with my University’s chapter of SFLA. It was absolute insanity. I got some kind of liquid thrown all over me and my sign as we were trying to cross the street after the march had stopped in front of the Capitol Building. Capitol police separated me and another girl from the rest of the group and wouldn’t let us through. That’s when the liquid got thrown at me. Capitol police didn’t do anything to stop them either, even though that’s considered battery.
