1. I can't believe that army trainee did that he decided to join the army now 3 weeks later he leaves the base and do that so crazy i don't know how long he going to jail or prison but i had a friend who went to Fort Jackson last year and I'm so proud of him

5. All he had to do was tell his drill sergeant that he wanted to go home and they would've begun the paperwork. It wasn't worth getting a criminal record.

15. I'd lock him in a room with the other trainees and let them have him for an hour, or so. If they were too weak to do anything, let the drill sergeants have him for a day. After that.. If he didn't need hospitalization, let the local authorities have him.

32. The army is not for everybody and yes when you join and you have that moment where you realise this isn't for you it's possible you freak out but I can't make sense of how he left like this. I hope they go light on him we don't know what was going through his mind maybe something wasn't right at that bootcamp and he just to get out
