  1. I don’t care what statue or memorial it is, people need to leave them the f*** alone. They are apart of our history and you will never be able to get rid of that. Dixiecrats, emmet till, Lincoln, Washington etc. People have no respect for things that do not belong to them.

  2. As a black male in 2021 this is still One of my fears. There are is still millions of people that believe this is ok and want us back into slavery or dead and trump pulled them out of the wood works too but people love to over look racism like no it’s 2021 things are good the lies you tell

  3. Vandals vandalized a memorial site of a young black boy killed for no reason and expects us to respect statues of traitors that fought against America.

  4. This news source needed to show the actual pictures of Emmett Till post lynching. Those kids needed expulsion. 2 years later and it still hurts and has compounded even more so after the George Floyd murder.

  5. The government of the United States has never believed in integration…. Just look at the treatment of native Americans and how they presently live…. And that "Ol Miss".. did not expell these individuals clearly proves one point… Unless people stand together and protest and boycott these institutions and hurt their… "Bottom line" ..there will rarely be any justice for the Emmit tills in our future.. ( may his spirit have everlasting peace…) .

  6. We normally think of the 1950s era being a time of fun and innocence but this murder completely contrasts that significantly since everyone was made aware of blacks being mistreated down south due to Jim Crow still being in effect.

  7. Look into who’s on the Board of trustees of that university or the president of that university and you’ll see why they didn’t get expelled or the family of those boys in the photo
