18. The aftermath IS very disorienting! After a derecho hit our city in 2020, our own street didn't look the same. I walked up 3 blocks with my boys and it was so weird that not just the houses and garages were damaged but trees and shrubs we had been used to being there were gone, street signs torn over, like nothing looked familiar at that point. It was very disturbing, very disorienting. I feel so sorry for these tornado victims. their lives are upside down now!
