  1. in the last days people are lovers of Pleasures … Covid just drop it naturally…time for nature to recover from human destructions and greed! oh yeah! Alleluia!

  2. Senoir counter agents make $33.00 an hour! Thats more than a GM at mcdonalds. As a primary source i even seen supervisors purposely write awful schedules to guarantee the staff has opportunity for overtime. Our money should not go to pay a counter agent at american airlines $50 an hour to stand there and be rude to the public. Who cares if 75,000 airline employees lose their jobs there 14million american who have already been living through the pandemic without jobs. The airlines is the entire reason the pandemic has spread as fast as it did. Do not use our money to pay the senior flight attendants $99.00 annhour because they dont want to retire and the union protects their ridiculous salary. The entire airline can rehire and train new employees at a standard rate of $15.00 an hour. The payroll system is horrendous and the airlines are destined to fail with or without bail just based on that alone. The unions coleect $14 a minth from employee the protect their salary. Need i say more? Let them claim bankruptcy let them shutndown so they can rebuild and this never repeats in history again

  3. Open up all countries. No restrictions, no test nor 14 day quarantines. Just mandate them to wear face mask and face shield. Time to end this nonsense and fear mongering we must move on and open up the economy. It will be a domino effect if businesses are shutdown and places on a lockdown. Peopl suffer from all of these and not the COVID itself. Only the CEOs and managers are safe and still receive huge amount of salaries and bonuses while the workforce in aviation industry suffers. Fire those CEOs and upper management first. You know what they do with the bail out money intended to save people their jobs? Stock buybacks. Yeah. Those greedy marfackers still greedy as hell and will first get their bonuses at the expense of retrenching thousands of workers.

  4. nobody with savings can withstand pandemic without severe change into frugal style living… problem is.. can most of everyone do such change?

  5. This is what I would do if I was CEO. Since the public is not with them. Fire 75% entire workforce. 25% and just wait with the remaining liquidity that they have.

  6. United CEO gets 10 million a year. They definitely have money. A CEO in Japan reduced his salary to make sure everyone could keep their job.

  7. Any essential workplace that is closed, lays off workers, or requests a public bailout should be nationalized and run under democratic workers’ control! For a rational plan of production that ensures no disruption in the supply chain of food, medical supplies, and other essentials!

  8. Please, please let them fail!!! US airlines are the worst in the world by far! Let the competition take over and transform them into world class airlines! US airlines rank last in the industry, because they became a government run business with our/taxpayers money. The US airlines leadership has to go! They need leaders with vision and creativity!

  9. Airline industry is not sustainable. How could anyone think it is? The money they made before was still not a profit. Flying people around the world on a mass level is absurd. But here we are…

  10. shiįttÿ year all around. Trump reacted too late. He should’ve done something back in January 🗓

  11. Boohoo. You make 6 figures and got to work for the last 6 months. No one cared when the restaurant workers lost their jobs in march

  12. Yep the rest of us have been crying since March and no one has cared. No let the billionaire shareholder CEOs bail their own companies. There are no customers. No one has any money. Send money to the people.

  13. Everyone is hurting. I hope people who lost their jobs will find new one. This too shall pass…..

  14. The airlines will survive in some form because people will need air travel for the foreseeable future. It's possible that one of the higher costs carriers could go under, but the low cost ones like Southwest will survive and thrive again. At some point, the government has to stop bailing out businesses that can't make it on their own. The US has given zero dollars to the cruise industry and they have not gone under despite having zero passengers. So, while I have some sympathy for the airline workers, the airlines themselves need to do better.
