The EPA is an efficient way to have a group of leaders who KNOW about environmental science to set guidelines about the environment. If we remember the interview process of Mark Zuckerberg by Congress…. you can see why it's important to assign regulation groups composed of people knowledgeable about those industries. So now congress is assumed to be composed of people with sophisticated knowledge of ALL the sciences…. but that's just not true. They are more reflective of the every day American… which is great for matters of moral and principles… but not when it comes to regulation of advanced sciences. Our educational system also does not provide the majority of Americans to develop proper understanding of a great majority of topics so the people can hold the industries accountable.
