This doctor helped his poorer black community by making house calls and taking many times what ever his patients could give. He by the grace of God saved many lives on the South 111thSt Area and on Halsted. Angel's come in many forms. When I met him,in the store a couple of years after retirement, he was frail needing assistance finding a beverage. I did help with honor thinking how he saved me from walking pneumonia.
