  1. The criminal used a handmade shotgun to kill Mr Abe for a very trivial personal reason unrelated to politics. I'm very disappointed because the criminal is a trivial crap.

  2. Arrogant, delusional Americans. WTF do they keep going there for while Putin is in power? Money? Is it worth it? What do they expect? Putin is a criminal head of a country where Americans going there while he is in charge are obviously putting themselves at risk…this is merely one case in point, then they expect the country to drop everything to come and rescue them? You want to go to Russia, wait until they get a leader who is not essentially a psycho.

  3. 24 hours since the prime minister was murdered, more than 100 Americans were killed by gun violence. Japan has one of the lowest gun violence rates in the world. America has one of the highest. Even after this terrible and very rare incident, I’m pretty sure Japan wants nothing to do with being like America.

  4. This was a very determined assassin. He had to spend many many hours constructing and testing the murder weapon, and was only able to kill one person using the maximum weapon capacity of two shots.

  5. It is very sad day for Japan 🇯🇵
This act is against Free, democracy, law and order.

  6. Nice! blame it on a country we want to destroy. China, I’m not saying you’re next but…

  7. “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” – Thomas Jefferson, Virginia Constitution, Draft 1, 1776

  8. “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.”
    – Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Madison, January 30, 1787

  9. The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self defense is not “a second-class right, subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees.” McDonald, 561 U. S., at 780 (plurality opinion). We know of no other constitutional right that an individual may exercise only after demonstrating to government offic-ers some special need. That is not how the First Amendment works when it comes to unpopular speech or the free exercise of religion. It is not how the Sixth Amendment works when it comes to a defendant’s right to confront the witnesses against him. And it is not how the Second Amendment works when it comes to public carry for self defense. New York’s proper-cause requirement violates the Fourteenth Amendment in that it prevents law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their right to keep and bear arms. We therefore reverse the judgment of the Court of Appeals and remand the case for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.

    It is so ordered.
Supreme Court of The United States of America, 2022
