Great, one more whole day to drink and get high. This will do wonders for UK GDP. I'm sure the Royals need an extra day off too.
Yeah, I had a 4 day a week job once. They had me there 15 hours each day! Literally watched the guy I was riding with fall asleep at the wheel.
There's no way the slave drivers here in America will ever go for a 4 day work week. As it is, most jobs want me to not only work 5 days a week (12 hours a day) but they also want me available to come in on my days off and on holidays!
So,…anyone in Iceland need a helicopter pilot and/or Class A truck driver?
,…'cause I'm more than ready for a change!
They already get an insane amount of vacation time over there. Now they got 4 day work weeks too? 😮â€ÂÂ💨
The problem isn't that 5 days is too long but that we spend too long at work and don't get paid liveable wages.
You know something with society and work culture is really wrong when you see your work colleagues more often then your own family. Something needs to change.
SHOWS you how INEFFICIENT they currently ARE!!
I worked 4 days a week for years. But they were 12-16 hour days.
My employer has had this shift for the night shift for 22 years now. It works. People feel actually compelled to do a little more knowing the reward at the end of the work week. Not a “la la land†idea like some other comment goes off of. It’s all mental. Not to mention half of the world is asleep when the other isn’t.. why not save the time, increase productivity with a happier workforce…instead of forcing work?
The fifth day you will sit for hours in a parking lot to charge your car!
Yeah, nah this isn't going to work, nice try though.

This is all talked about in the world economic forum along with world government.
BS….. lazy liberals
People need more time for mental sanity and more time with their families. 2 days off is not ample time to rest your mind. These companies have our whole day! They have taken our whole week! They have our lives! If you need a day off, you have to ask and beg for a day of your life to take care is something!! It’s ridiculous. We cannot live the full life we are meant to live without being obligated to 40 work hours per week/ 10 hours of your day. Your whole day is basically gone after work. It’s about time someone said something.
This is great. If this works I will have my employees work for 4 days a week and get 5 days work done but of course I will only pay them for the 4 days they work. Win win for everyone!!!
So basically all this is doing is rewarding those who work less on a metric scale in 5 days than those that actually got more work done over the same time span. In due time this 4 day work week will only produce 3 days worth of work because let's face it, people in the work industry are pretty lazy and barely work (many don't even have a job or want to get one)…. history always repeats itself. How would this model even work for certain industries??? Simply put, it wouldn't. Smdh This will just eventually require more workers to get the"job done" which is a good thing for unemployment rates to decrease, but this will just drain company pocket books and force them to pay lower salaries over time… this is totally backwards in practicality, but great in la la land theory.
Meanwhile in America companies are like “we had to change health insurance so it’ll be more expensive and cover less, but the good news is we have money to hire armed security guards now so you’ll be less likely to get shotâ€ÂÂ
Shout out to George Floyd on 2 years of sobriety. It took some tough love but he did it. Say his name liberals!

What would i do with the additional day off though. I'm so confused
