Both planes had been cleared for landing on parallel runways at the Centennial Airport. Nobody was hurt from the incident and NTSB has launched an investigation.

  1. I have heard of the cirrus parachute.
    That is to ONLY be deployed in a life or death situation.
    If deployed, the airframe is considered totaled. So no deploying to show off or by “accident”.

  2. You know, thats at least an excellent example of their revolutionary Parachute system. Like, thats kinda dope and it visibly looked like a softer landing. All in all, though, the truly extraordinary thing is that no one got fatally injured 👍

  4. Planes can have parachutes?!
    WHY HASNT THIS BEEN MADE MANDATORY and why are we only learning about this now?
    "Oh, your plane has a problem in the air, you're definitely gonna die" has been the accepted "truth" and now we learn it's all been a lie.

    I wont fly unless my plane has its own parachute.
