  1. Forcing training after covid rapidly and all these accidents are starting to happen maybe we should slow down and retrain the force. But hey maybe the two aren't linked at all what do I know.

  2. You telling me that there's know one watching them while training…? So someone is just inspecting them to get back at a certain 🤔 time.
And when they don't show up and the TANK IS MISSING…
Somebody was supposed to be watching them…

  3. Really!!!! How tf our military our great marine corps losses 8 people!! WTF 🤬 my dad grandfather brother all Marines just doesn’t make sense , whoever was in charge of the mission should be held responsible for the eight people missing and one person pass, this is sad 😔

  4. AAV's float, unless the hatches were left open, or not completely closed when they splashed. Even if the seals are leaking, they have bilge pumps to remove the water fore and aft. If they were heading to shore and the commander opened a hatch and the bow plane was not deployed, a wave could wash over and overwhelm the pumps. If they had fifteen Marines on board and that happened, the only way out is the overhead hatches in the crew compartment. If somebody panicked and opened it during splash they lose all buoyancy and everybody still inside is pinned to the ceiling with life vests inflated. If the commander or driver egressed without turning the lights on or the power failed, it's nearly pitch black inside. Don't ever panic, stay calm and follow procedures. Worked at Yermo and knew the guys who worked on the hatch seals. Many of them Marines themselves. Hatch seals didn't fail.

  5. US military been in hot water lately with new recruits dying. Missing, murdered and bodies being found on training grounds.

  6. R.I.P.I lost a family member in a training accident years ago. Thanks to all dead and injured for your service.Lets see if the news can report only as a news story and not somehow blame this on the President.Even saying that seems crazy but we are in crazy times.

  12. I think one day we will learn that too many of these training “accidents” are actually methods of tying loose ends.
