  1. To think, the liberal that thought they were doing him a favor by not pressing charges, could have prevented the death of the hiker. That must be a heavy weight to carry the rest of your life.

  2. А в России тайга-закон, а медведь-прокурор!

  3. if you hike the at and own a gun take your gun id love to through hike the at but i will take my gun and if i hear something like this going on i will hold the line against this kinda menace

  4. You liberals do nothing about a lunatic like this. You could have saved a man's life if you Tennessee liberals were not so oblivious. This is what you want for America? No thanks. President Trump will be getting my vote for re-election.

  5. I have hiked the AT from Vermont down to Harper's Ferry alone. There are dangers you have to be aware of such as Bears (never came into contact with one), Rattlesnakes (3 encounters), Ticks and unfortunately, people. Most hikers I have met are very nice and some very helpful. I have run into a couple of "off" people and jerks, but nothing too serious. I am 6'2" 200lbs with a shaved head but I am the most helpful hiker you can find. Still, if someone is really "off" like this dude, it does not matter what size you are. A gun is too heavy, but I always have my Morakniv knife on me and trek poles can do some good damage. Hell, a good rock throw to the face can put anybody's lights out.

  6. Secamp .380 weighs a little over 11 oz. & very compact, low maintenance. Obviously a personal choice, as much for peace of mind. I only do day hikes and overnighters on the trail, so weight is easily offset as I don't carry a larger pack, etc. I'm near a heavily trafficked section of trail with it's share of oddballs.

  7. I’m just saying, what are the chances you get stopped by law enforcement on the trail. I know it’s illegal to carry a firearm through all those states but cmon, I’d probably do ot

  8. I really need to hike the AT if it was me on this trail hed threaten to pour gas on my tent and is pull out either my 45. Or my mp40 and that would be it

  9. Let me tell y'all, you must tote a weapon when you hike the trail and be willing to use it. Preferably a firearm, small and compact. Carry it concealed the entire time and show absolutely no one that you have it. In some parts it's illegal to, but would you rather be secretly carrying in a gunfree zone, or dead? This and many other crimes on the AT could have been stopped by guns. If you look at the weapons the predators use, it's usually not a gun but a stabbing weapon. I still remember the grim story of the 3 female AT hikers that got hacked up in their tent by a lone lunatic with a hatchet. If just one of those women had been armed with a gun that son of bitch would be dead.

  10. MAN WE HEAR ABOUT THIS GUY, HOLD HIM, LRT HIM GO, A COUPLE OF INJURIES AND MURDERS, BEFORE THAT MANY REPORTS OF INTIMIDATIONS ANTAGONISATION THREATS, EVEN TO BURN PEOPLE ALIVE, AND HES PERMITTED TO WALK FREE AND ONLY AFTER THIS FKNG HORROR WITH ONE DEAD AND ONE STABBED TO PLAY DEAD AND WALK FOR HOURS AND MILES BEFORE SHE CAN FIND ANYONE WHO CAN HELP HER DO THEY TAKE HIM IN ! TOO BLEEPING CASUAL !!!
ANY CHANCE THEYLL EVER RELEASE HIM ??? 😶

  11. Call me crazy but what are the chances a man named James Jordan is in the MSM for a killing just days after Rep. Jim (James) Jordan rips the entire Russian Collusion narrative to pieces.

I suggest you come and listen if you’re objective one bit.

  12. A concealed carry handgun would have came in handy in this situation. My prayers are with the two individuals and their families. It’s getting to be a dangerous place.

  13. I hike Roan Mountain frequently, sometimes by myself (where they first encountered this gentleman) — that being said, I always take my gun with me. Not in fear of animals, but humans like this d*ouche.

  14. I carry a taser with me when I walk because I’ve been assaulted more then once I fell it’s because I look Mexican
