Isn't this just a licensed phone made by a different company with the axon branding? No wonder it lost everything I and many others love about the 7.
Ui based phones are better.
Pretty dissapointed in the design and choices that ZTE made. There is no dual front facing speakers, and the headphone jack is gone.
No more front facing speakers? No thanks. Very disappointing ZTE.
I am holding onto the Axon 7 for now. Hopefully ZTE will have something better than this when it comes time to replace it.
Amazing….amazing the Axon 7 is still a better phone than this 2018 clone.
I want the front stereo speakers back! That's one of the reasons I bought the Axon 7. Now Axon 9 is just like the rest of the NOTCH family. You don't have anything that standout no more….so disappointed …WTF?! I'd rather you just keeps the whole body remain the same and just update the software.
I hope Samsung never starts with this notch mess nobody asked for it

Latest flagship pfones look all the same.
Proud Axon 7 owner here, it's sad to see that ZTE has gone with the pack in terms of design for the Axon 9. I'll give ZTE credit for including a 4000Mah battery and 6Gb of RAM, but why oh why did they get rid of the front facing speakers for another stupid looking notch? I can't wait for this trend to die a (hopefully) swift death.
Honestly, I hope they end up in the same position as HTC after this little stunt.

I'm really disappointed. I expected the axon 9 pros to look like the axon 7 just without the capacitive buttons and the sensor area and use that for the screen. Wanted a metal body, front-facing stereo speakers. I have now lost faith in ZTE

No. 1 rule of notch: Don't have chin when you imitate iphone's notch
I had a previous version and had so many weird in the UI, things like the camera doesn't run if the system want on Chinese or English, overheating and some other issues.
