Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Impressions: OnePlus 6T Killer?

1. I have this and get a days usage out of it no problem.

   Numbers are not everything lol

Xiaomi shot themselves in the foot with this one, they have this mi8 pro but they also have a much cheaper Pocophone F1 which is way cheaper at 300$ and is quite superior in specs, it has an SD845, 4000mah battery, the only things your losing maybe is the design materials and the camera but other than that the Pocophone is clearly a superior phone here with its price and it’s specs compared to the mi8 pro

4. The fact that Amazon has reduced the price of most flagships, such as the LG G7 to £400 oneplus don't seem that cheap anymore. The G7 is by far better than the oneplus 6t only difference is that oneplus made the right move going to Amoled.

From the design of body to the UI, they really replicate the iPhone. How the fuck is that OK to you!!!???? There is no uniqueness, no innovation. Copy and paste iPhone with the cheapest components you can get. Fabricate. Call it Xioami.

   There are also Xioami phones named "Note" just like Samsung's Note series. C'mon! Copy even the name!?

13. Personal choice I would go with the Oneplus 6T over the Mi8 anyday and I'm a past Xiaomi phone owner living in the UK.

    I used to own Xiaomi phones in the past like the Mi5 and original the Mi Mix. My mindset has been why pay so much on a spec out phone when you can get phone similar high specs for a lower price. MIUI is like marmite but I got use to it. However overtime MIUI has gotten worse for me especially as it became more of a battery drainer and even today its brains the battery due to its heavy skin. Mi Mix 2 was such a disappointment with the battery size compare to the original that I decided to go with the OnePlus 5T. Experiencing Oxygen OS I just can't go back to any Xiaomi MIUI phones especially now they are ads within the settings menus. I've just got my OnePlus 6T and the experience of using it is so good. No serious bloatware, ads or heavy Android skin.

    Build quality for both Xiaomi and OnePlus phones are excellent. It's the user experience of the Android skin that I think will ultimately will make the casual consumer swing for one or the other. This is where OnePlus has an advantage as it is now widely available with UK carriers and stores for people to experience it before buying. Xiaomi will only have a store in London for now.
