Xiaomi: Huge hit in India, but not everyone is happy!

1. Business Opportunity in Ruvol

   I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

   It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

   The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

   It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

4. If Xiaomi gets caught in a Chinese government spying through the phone backdoor scandal it would be extremely damaging for their brand reputation,not to mention customer trust.

   My Redmi note 4 is water damage and they say the repair cost is 12000rs and purchase device for 13000re

7. To be honest, the phones which are sold that cheap really have no money left for support, quality updates and customer care service. The major reason I bought Xiaomi phone is because it is a brilliant piece of hardware sold really cheap, and because it runs on Snapdragon SoC. What I did was flash a custom ROM, such as Lineage OS or Resurrection Remix. For me that's the best combination of hardware and software for least amount of money.

16. I broke my screen & and got it replaced with Mi service center, (@ countryside service center) but behaviour of the people was good to me & to others as well
    But lack of product, select models launching in india is a bit annoying.
    Mi 6 not launched in india at all… This is horrible, where one plus is piling them up every 3 months or so,

19. Update 2018 : security patches for Xiaomi phones come twice or thrice a year.. biggest issue is ram management.. after sales service still VERY Poor. But business going quite well.. Redmi note 4 was a hit last year. Still budget phones Redmi 4a (2 variants) redmi 4(3 variants) redmi 5a (2 variants) Redmi Note 4 (3 variants) Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 lite and with loved Mi A1 are too many.. Just one flagship Mi Mix2 which is not going well in India.

21. to be frank, xiaomi sucks in India, as most of xiaomi users come from using endemic phones like karbonn and micromax, which can't afford for their own ui. These Indian brands provide buttery smooth stock android. It is still annoying and stressful using xiaomi phones. There is also an issue of overheating and lagging and on and on and on

22. My Redmi 4 is now 3 months old and it hasn't hanged or lagged even for a slight millisecond till date.

25. got all the phones from way back mi3 to mi note3 with 20+ iot devices connected. they used to be good, good priced flagship with good specs. but not now.. all their product so mediocre and seems they are more concern hitting the low end of the phone market. after 7 years, finally changed to another brand. seems they have are launching phones that are really super copy and paste of their own line ups

26. MIUI is hands down, one of the most ugly smartphone manufacturer skins on phones.

    Fast charge but they did not include a fast charge adapter with the phone.

30. Xiomi devices are great and they cut out all the unnecessary stuff to decrease the price like now I'm using the redmi note 4 where they did not include the earphones

31. I want one but I keep reading that they cannot record audio decently it's really bad that is a deal breaker.

40. I experienced problem with updates. After updates my messaging app didn't work and factory reset option also not working. Eventually I moved to Moto phones
