  1. What's the point in the long-term update support for the Pixel, if after just a year, with the release of a new version, you receive updates with deliberately removed functionality at the software level? It's just shameful and a reason why I will never buy a Pixel again.

  2. Coming to iPad thing,

    iPad Pro 12.9 inch (1st gen) which was launched back in September 2015 came with iOS 9.1 out of the box. Now, it got a last major iOS update i.e, iPad OS 16.7.2.

    So, a total of 'next' 7 major iOS update for "8 years" that is supported is not a joke.

    Conclusion:
    Apple is very good at its update releases.
