  1. LET'S BE HONEST WITH OURSELVES ABOUT THIS – digital-technology stinks. Podcast-players from the Google Hemorrhoids apps store range from the totally-unusable to the pulling-your-hair-out user-unfriendly. Similar to the things that people used to say about Volvo cars ( designed by robots – driven by dummies ), podcast-players without doubt take their place in the prize-winning crappest podcast-player hall of infamy.

  2. My favorite: iPP. It's wavesome! Does everything you need and it's simple to use. Even lets you choose where to store your downloads. Probably many of you want to download to an SD card because internal space is typically limited (expensive to buy top model with 32 GB where as 32 GB µSD's are dirt cheap) and you also avoids excessive wear on the internal flash storage.

  3. No. The podcast creator has to create his own channel in the podcast app directory (if it's tied to an app store) and upload them there. Some large companies (oriented towards spreading knowledge) have direct RSS feeds on their websites and the smaller podcast app creators just add those feeds as a podcast source, on their servers, to attract more users.

  4. I have a question regarding how podcasts work. When a podcast creator uploads a podcast to say itunes, will it automatically be available to all other apps (android or ios) ? I am going to move from ios to android and I m a video podcast addict so I wanna watch all the videos on android as well, will I get all of the podcasts in android that I am getting in apple's podcast app? thanks

  5. I used to use Beyond Pod & DoggCatcher but now i love the simplicity of Pocket Casts and how it's build, so fore me Pocket Casts is one of the best Podcast player.

  6. Need a good podcast aggregator?
