2. That's total bullshit Sony has closed its doors on Sony Xperia phones and closed a huge majority of stores in Australia wide!

3. Problem is Sony is not showing in real life with advertising or something. Sony will more and more forgoten in future if they dont do something to recognise them. The big players are apple, samsung and huawai and the chinese Brands are overtaking sony LG and HTC. HTC is almost dead, LG is also very bad situation on smartphone market and for sony it doesnt look good either. Hope they will rise again. Because their smartphones have a better quality than samsung phones but only a little. The quality diffrencses are hard to spot but they are marginal.

9. Sony should try to do a market test on "battery life phones" and try to become "the first thing on consumers' minds" on gargantuan battery phones. I'd suggest they name their super battery phones Sony P series for "Power" or S for "STAMINA". They already won to being the first thing on consumers' minds about camera phones since they're known for the OEM who supplies most camera sensors to other OEMs. Combine the two, so in Sony P series you'll get a relatively thick device compared to other OEMs, but packs a gargantuan battery size, say 6,000 or 8,000 mAh battery, and use that thickness advantage and extra space to install a camera that's capable of doing an excellent optical zoom. You need that extra size to pack optical zoom anyway right?

   because of its gargantuan battery, it'll take longer to recharge, but I think it's okay, people leave their phones charging overnight anyway. even if it takes 7 hours, but if you get juice for 3 consecutive days, who cares?

   And also (maybe in other series) they should enter the stylus-enabled phone market too. AND FOR GOD'S SAKES INCREASE THE RAM SIZE. WTF is Xperia XZ doing competing with other flagships with a puny 3 gigs of RAM?

   Wireless charging and selfie flashes, they should start implementing them into their new flagships. IT IS IMPORTANT. Innovation is important, Sony. it's 2016 and you don't have wireless charging? You gotta be kidding me.

   I think I should work at Sony's R&D to save them from sinking into the ocean.

    Yes they make sensors and have some really good cameras but they don't command any market . . or as this video shows aren't really a factor of a market.

26. Z3+ with the Snapdragon 810 processor is like holding a baked potato in your hands. I have seen many people with problems of swelling batteries and screen cracking because of the heat…. Perhaps the all purpose of waterproofing the phone was actually a desperate attempt to "water cooling" it's own processing unit.
    An unlucky choice for Sony and other device manufacturers, Qualcomm should have been held responsible for most of the returns on phones like the Sony z3+ and the HTC One M9.

30. I think Sony could do a lot better in the smartphone space if they played their cards right. Sony's z compact line is one of the best smartphone options out there. Everybody is heading towards the bigger screen size category but there is a very strong niche audience that is longing for a top quality compact phone like the z3 compact, but brand recognition is just not there, not to mention availability. It would be interesting to see what would happen if Sony really pushed a refreshed version of the z3 compact or even the current z3 compact.

32. So happy to hear that because SONY is a big name and their smartphones are really great. I own the xperia z2 and it is absolutely awesome with a not so large price. I expect too much from this company. Good luck 🙂

34. User experience? The UI interface is pretty crap. I hate album and walkman with a passion. Definitely will not be getting another sony. The only good thing about my Z1 the battery life is really good.

35. Sony to compete with Samsung? Sorry, but who was the first who created full glass design, first who created line of waterproof smartphones, and actually they are already the best when it comes to sound, I'm talking about earphones, Noice Canceling technology is awesome, and speakers are really good too.. All very useful features, and everybody who knows how to use manual mode for its camera, I'm 100% sure will get much better performance than with Samsung's camera.. In my case I have great, long experience with Xperia Z2 I've never seen it lagging, maybe sometimes when it comes to rebooting, Samsung every review I see it laggs when doing simple transmissions.. They're just winning market, not selling quality.. And there's a lot of fan boyz out there..

39. I'm using a Xperia Z3 and its flawless.. Battery life is beyond expectations and the display is awesome.. Sony should integrate their Playstation, audio(walkman) and camera more to their next flagship phone and try investing more on the US market.. Pretty sure American people are hyped about the Playstation and would give this phone a try..
