This is rather pointless, I think any talk about real usefulness has to do with how accurate it is, all that nonsense about not being able to use it when running as opposed to the band is not stuff I have to watch a video to discover. Try to use it in tandem with actual medical heart rate measuring equipment to tell us how this compares. Otherwise you´re wasting my time

10. You call it a gimmick; I call it a great idea! Don't you find it interesting that people who are jealous of what Samsung has that their phone doesn't usually says that Samsung is gimmicky?

11. It fails to read my heart rate when it is below 50bpm and cold. I don't know if this is outside their operating range or not, i could not find the operating range anywhere.

13. Some results for my s5 has been consistent but sometimes it is not consistent at all. I can have 65 63 65 72 65 than 85. Than 65 than 82

    And my true heart rate at that time was 72. So almost all of the results were not accurate besides one.

14. Samsung has become a corporation and a corporation's survival comes first even it meant doing the wrong things to survive, galaxy s5 real parts price is only 200 USD, so why charge 600 ?

Most of the people rage on heart rate monitor,and they find it useless,but for me it is a great feature,cause iam so active person,so shealth+heart monitor is a great feature for me,and i ll buy it,if you dont like it you still have great phones like xperia z2 lg g2 e.t.c! 30. A small app in my ex-iPhone 4 used to do the job. Very useless by samsung.

35. Cardiograph is one if the apps which turns your camera into a heart rate monitor and it is as accurate as the S5

39. Lol, to call out the device on the fact that it does not allow real time tracking it silly. It's a phone, what other phone can check your heart rate? Only the S5, so in that case it should set it apart
