It’s been a little while since the Galaxy S4 was released, so how do people feel about it now? Josh, the very person who reviewed it first here on Android Authority, gives you his thoughts after the hype.

  1. S4 is a failure by all means. The only good thing is that it is pretty fast. All other as battery life not good, pda board replaced in warranty, and many other that i do not remember

  3. I am sorry guys, but s4 battery life is a joke, i used about one year then i give up. Despite was working nice, after 1/2 hour usage battery was down to 60%. My new lg g4 battery life rocks.

  4. Is there any mobile manufacturer apart from Samsung that has smart scroll/pause or air gestures? …with a different name
I don't think so and that's why this phone is so exciting to me right now and I hope to get a good deal I've found for Christmas. When I started to write this I realised these features might be patented/copyright so if they are then you can't compare other phones, but if they're not please tell me what the comparable phones are.

  5. You're right about the phone envy, a few months after my s4 I started to think why didn't I get an HTC one? It fit my needs from a smartphone a lot better.

  6. @quietguy1948, if you are a first time android user, you should try Moto X and see how pure android and a light skin from the manufacturer works for you. However, if you know how android platform works, you should look into more higher level of android such as, Galaxy Note 3, HTC One, Sony Xperia, Samsung Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, and Nokia Lumia lineup. From my opinion, he is not saying that "oh you should not buy this because of its features." He is just mentioning that you should expect that you wont see a use of using those smart features from Samsung Galaxy lineup because you simply won't use it after awhile. Some of the people do, however, majority of the people who uses these types of phone will simply not find it useful much. However, Galaxy lineups are great devices. Like he said, it's very reliable and very friendly to use due to its familiarity.

    I hope this helps!

  7. Android Authority? When will the Android 4.3 Available For the Samsung Galaxy S4 ?
Cause I Don't know how to Download it.. Can you Make a FULL
Review of Android 4.3 Before its Gonna be Available For Update in Galaxy s4? Im Sure iOs Haters will Appreciate it 😀

  8. At the end of the day, it's still just a phone. I just got my s4 and I love it not because of gimmicks but because it's an awesome phone. I came from the s2 which I think is also a great phone. There are plenty of the neat features that I know I won't use (and already don't) but that doesn't make me like the phone any less.

  9. I could not agree more with this guy in the video. I have an S4 and he said what I was thinking word for word. And yes….I still love this phone.

  10. Get a nexus phone. What most people need is just a pure android. s pen, s voice, s hole, airview, most people don't use it anyway.

  11. Well it's just like everything else, first you talk about how great it is and how you can't live without it, then you talk about how cheesy it is after a few weeks of using it. I have own several different phones in my past time and all I can say is do your homework first before buying that one phone you like and stick to it; otherwise you'll end up with buyers remorse. And we all how that feel's. Just saying. Oh by the way I've just bought a Gs4 and I'm glad to say I LOVE IT. No buyer remorse.

  12. 2 weeks in to the S4 I sold it and got me a HTC One. I came from the Note 2 and also owned a S3 before that.
On the HTC One I only miss the menu key, but hold home for menu in latest update alleviated the issue a lot.

  13. The S4 is a great phone hands down, I bough it because I looked into the specs most people don't even notice. I wanted the best CPU, most RAM, size to fit my hands(I got J.J. Swatt hands), expandable storage, high-res camera, and Gorilla Glass 3. Some of you may not need the performance or gorilla glass 3. It's like I told my step-father… I want this device because it has the best features to offer, which I want to last me with new software/apps. And due to popularity, lots of accessories!!

  14. Not to mention the removable battery and sdcard slot in the S4. In terms of raw functionality the S4 trounces the One, but… dat S-LCD screen on the One? homg it's so amazing.
