Phil and Alex get a look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It’s running Android 4.1.2 with TouchWiz, has new S Pen features and fits a nice void between the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy Note 10.1.

  1. Slightly more limited playstore doesn't have anything to do with the device that is a question of which OS you like better. You obviously are lying too because if the apps is what makes Note 8.0 not good for you why did you expect it to change with this device. You had to have known before that appstore has more. Meaning you only came here really to be a dick. I can understand if you prefer iOS but you can't honestly tell me iPad is a better device. Other than maybe the bullshit build quality.

  2. what do you mean little apps? this video doesn't even talk about apps, the google playstore has a lot of apps and has all the popular ones too

  3. Haha. Ok. Agreeable, but it's the commenter's idea, no need to call him/her stupid.

I agree as well, Apple two thumbs up for built quality and design.

I have the ipad mini, and ipad 2.. and compared to my Samsung Tab 2 8.0, Samsung loses. Yes, plasticky feel.

  4. i don.t get it why using TFT screen display..its kind a weird things samsung using obselete tech on hign end devices..

  5. @Lean6 u are such a joke, making consumers compensate becausr samsung cannot provide a high quality device by making them buy a case so that they wont have to feel the cheap back? you are one of a handful of really stupid people who can ever think this way. The xperia V has a removable back but it uses a much higher quality polycarbonate backing unlike samsung cheap glossy plastic. At this rate samsung will never catch up to sony htc n apple in built quality and design

  6. Doesn't look like a phone, it looks like a tablet. Why would one care what it looks like? People these days sound like a bunch of whiney bitches.

  7. I want one, but I'm not gonna pay a dime over $300 for it. I'd prefer $250, actually, but that's just not gonna happen.

  8. I think it will be a great device. It's not THAT bad looking, I think it's just the shock factor due to the fact that it isn't very uniform to Samsung's tablet line of products but rather more uniform to their cellphone line.
