2. i'm kinda new to the android OS but since the Samsung Continuum comes with 2.1 i've read that is bad and all but wouldn't it take an update to install the latest version which is 2.3 now? is the update just not available for all phones generally around the same time?

13. @jonjl15 Phil represents Android Central.com really really well. He either purposely sabotaging the phone by blocking the light sensor to make it thinks that it's night time to dim the lights or he doesn't know his stuff before reviewing the phone. Who the heck review the entire phone in their backyard in bright sunlight anyway? I have a Samsung Galaxy S with Super AMOLED (active matrix organic LED) display and it is the brightest display on the market right now.

14. Does anyone else notice how the screen lite up when he took his finger a little bit away from the top where the proximity sensor is. And for people who dot know what that is it's a sensor that turns the screen brightness up or down depending on the lighting your in. So it wasn't the phone he was just too stupid to move his freaking fingers
