Think of a huge empty room, like a football field where people wander around with their tangos and #carboards. They are actually naked but in in the fantasy world they look the way they want. And it's full of waterfalls, trees and beautiful landscapes. Maybe if one day we solve the economy problem and we have so much money we don't know what to do with it anymore we can do that on prisoners and have fun looking at them.
can Tango detect mosquitoes in my room and tell me where they're hiding ?
Very cool. Can't wait to see more application of this technology as the project advances.
Project Tango + Mortal Kombat 4 = …… :O
project tengo + cardboard + a big ass field = a pretty damn crazy experience, i'd imagine
Real life SAO incoming….
Great as a kid, I checked under my bed every night to make sure the boogyman wasn't hiding there. Now they're making games that will include a boogyman that can hide under your bed, or in your closet.ÂÂÂ
Sweet dreams.
WOW!!! will it work for racing games??
playing minecraft like that would be so cool!
this is awsome
super cool!
This is some serious stuff for technology development, as it helps developers to make a more realistic and use environmental space around people.ÂÂÂ
Admit it Josh, you did't understood a bit what he explained
Wow… Now we won't have to track 3D space in post editing for including 3D objects in post editing. The potential for camera tech is tremendous.
With da oculus rift! Da future is here!
With da oculus rift! Da future is here!
So put this device on several flying drones, and wow. 3D StreetView anyone?
I'm loving the future already lol
johnny's hot. what was he explaining?
i gotta rewatch the whole thing.
Will they use this in google glass?
Some cool ideas I've thought of after seeing the stuff from the Google IO:
-Google should partner with Oculus or Sony and integrate Tango with a head-mounted display (but have a camera on it with a live feed in a corner of the screen so you don't walk into something.) Or integrate it with Google Glass.
-When Tango gets better, integrate with Android Auto and make a world from the streets you're driving through.
-Use either or both these ideas into a game on Android TV.
Ups !! Awsome.. great job Josh
Thinking to play minecraft like this
awesome….. this is some serious stuff
Impressive
Maybe this will help to reduce the number of fat gamers to get them walk around.
so essentially it's kinda like a kinectÂÂÂ
