Parrot made a huge splash at CES. From their headphones, to their drones, and even their android auto head-units. Today we are taking a look at their Android Auto head-unit.

Sure would be awesome if this was available.  Or we knew the price.  Or something. 🙂
What was the point of the interview, you saw next to nothing of the product and i could barely hear the guy talking. All i saw was 2 awkward guys, awkwardly talking.
Well to be fair, the guys that's representing Parrot is awful. But yeah, this was a pretty bad clip. Really made me laugh though, thanks. Lol.
And this product ia a mess. It's Android 5.0 with lots of lag and extra stuff plus some Auto thrown into the mix. How about some Windows XP in there or something? Let's just put everything in it.
Why is it slow in some places?
Stop blaming Darcy for how awkward the interview was, people. The guy's accent and ear for English is what made it awkward.
Neither of them seem to know what they're even doingÂÂÂ
everyone is saying it was a horrible interview but nobody is highlighting that it wasn't Darcy's fault. The guy replying wasn't exactly giving the best answers.
Anyone know if they have something like an app that can connect to the car via WiFi or WiFi direct or something in order to remotely set the climate control? Say if its really cold in the morning taking kids to school, or too jot outside and you have a small child. Seems like something that would be really useful, or make the alarm ring in a full parking lot when you can't find it (the unit has 5Ghz WiFi and runs normal android)
The UI like the Sony UI lol when Darcy asking a question he got blur a while AWKWARD MOMENT!!!
Hope my car is compatible
Sure Darcy is kind of out of his element doing these but honestly the guy he's interviewing is the awkward one. He knew nothing of what to say or how to present it. He could answer questions but clearly the wrong guy to represent something on a press floor lol
ZZzzzz…oh is this still on..
This is the future. They did it right. Not sure how it could possibly be compatible with 90% of the models tho.
Most of the ppl that mods things and would go to the trouble of fitting am aftermarket Navi unit in their car probably care about Android Auto and not so much about CarPlay.
I'm surprised Apple didn't call it some sort of iThing.. hmm. I wonder why.
"Barrot" 🙂 🙂 "it can also make phone calls" lol
That was a terrible interview, guys!
Film it up close, see how well integrated it is with the native OS, how smooth it is,, features, etc.
Worse interview ever
Very feature rich and interesting. Thing is, this will be hella pricey. Above 1000$USD at least.
Yawn!!
OMG SO AWKWARD O___O
1:25 very awkward ….
That's a wondeful mic..
The most awakward interview on CES 2015 -_-
Maybe Josh or Lanh or Kevin can choose the right person on the right place #allhailjosh
Hacks into device MAKE THE GROUNDSHAKE! DUBSTEP AND ADDRESES TOO THE NEAREST TOILET WITH RANDOMLY ADJUSTING CHAIRS
This is a parody.
Horrible Interview @Android Authority But I'm excited for this @Android Auto product.
Can anyone tell me if this device will be compatible with @SiriusXM Radio and will it be compatible with my 2012 @Chevrolet Sonic?
I want these products to explode in the marketplace but the follow thing's have to happen.
1. Product has to be quick and responsive.
2. Product has to support @SiriusXM Radio.
3. Product has to support buttons that on on my 2012 Chevy Sonic steering wheel such as Voice, Volume, Mute, & Call Button.
4. Product has to be a easy to hook up.
Hopefully #AndroidAuto will explode in the marketplace
Still needs rca's out for amps, Wtf withe Ethernet connection on the back? Wifi? Most things on the back other unit are useless. #Fail
This is a terrible interview….Android Authority hold this "L"….
Crazy bad interview. Awkward all the way through.
I feel sorry for parrot auto guy, he didn't understand the questions neither sounded tech savvy 😂 why would they send him to CES if he wasn't ready?
1:14 hahaha.
"So a lot of custom development went into this version for this car?"
*awkward pause
"Yeah"
"Yeah"
10/10
Nice
Bit of latency switching between apps, im guessing it has like a gig of ram.
That's a good song
Sad…
I think they like each other.
Interview strength… 2/10.
This guy is so awkward in every single crap interview he does…
akward….
Can I put this in my 2012 charger?
I know this guy isn't an english native, but was I the only one to think  he sounded a bit arrogant?ÂÂÂ
Wow… awkward
