Pantech Pocket hands-on

Barely has any memory left, it is very bloated.  There doesn't seem to be any custom Roms available to recoup any from bloatware.  Too bad, seems like it would be nice phone for the price.  You'll have to be very frugal with your apps, not allowing any updates on anything to keep from running out of space.

3. I've used a pocket for over a year now and still enjoy it. Memory for apps is low so best to root it and delete the bloatware apps. Not for gaming but I'm 53 and read a lot which it is great for. Practically ruggedized out of the box and can take a decent snapshot in good lighting. Once you use this form factor for texting, reading and surfing, you're not satisfied with anything else. Wish Pantech would make a higher spec phone in this form factor! I got a dualcore phone but went back to the Pocket for ease of use. It will get laggy if you don't kill running apps but Pantech makes that easy, just hold down home button and x out apps.

4. Has anyone figured out how to delete photos from the gallery??

6. Apparently not. 3 months later. This phone has been shunned which is a shame.

10. Well yeah. When I listen to music, it cuts off by itself for some reason, and the battery can be full. But other than that, I'd say it's a good phone in my opinion.

Type in Juice Defender on Google and do some research!

19. I have this phone and Love it, hate somethings about it but mostly love it! And so far as Battery get Juice Defender and it'll will hold a good Whole Day with Normal Use, Camera could be better but overall Love It!

25. Ohh but one thing I wanted to know was does this phone have photo editing? As in, can you take a picture and edit it on the phone itself?

    I have the Pantech Pursuit and it's a pretty decent phone except the screen freezes sometimes and the calling volume could be better.
