How much does it actually cost to get a 5G phone? A little over a year ago 5G was limited to only the most premium of flagship phones, but today it can be had for a little under $250. Still, is the OnePlus Nord N200 anything more than a rebadged Oppo phone? Here is the TLDR on the Nord N200.

  1. I've had the phone for 3 weeks, and I wouldn't pay the extra $60 to get the n10 or any other budget phone. It's fast enough and the "mediocre" cameras can recognize small text even in low light. Furthermore, with Android 12 around the corner, it will see a slight bump in performance, aesthetics, and privacy.

The fingerprint scanner works most of the time, but make sure you train it with a wide variation of thumbprints. My only gripe is the IPS display which is hard to see in strong outdoor sunlight; when I was in a junkyard, I couldn't answer a call because I couldn't see anything. Hopefully, the adaptive brightness setting works! All in all, I'm very happy that I made a transition to actually having a phone. 😀

  2. All due respect, I wouldn't recommend ANY OnePlus phone. I have the N100 and the phone reports it being too hot all the time. I will be dumping this phone as soon as i can afford a replacement.

  3. That TL;DR version at the beginning is really a novel idea since usually, the YouTubers in the hunt for higher watch time give this only at the end.

  4. I hate companies bumping up the price bc the phone has 5G. Who cares about 5G? How many people using it? Isn't 4G enough for outside? Don't we all use wifi majority of the times?

  5. Great video! What does "TLDR" stand for? I also have Nord N200 and got it for free from T-Mobile. This is an entry-level 5G device. Nothing more, nothing less. I enjoy using it.

  6. 4:24 – Yeah, I would rather go with the Pixel … Everyone called me a day walker … And this phone would not do me any favors. Agh .. Sunlight

  7. Shit phone. Shit company.
    5G is overrated.
Stop over hyping it and stop shoving things on consumer's faces, they don't need.

  8. Redmi note series>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Wayy overpriced compared to what competitors offering.
Don't know about availability outside India/SEA tho.
