Behold, the new Nexus 5X from LG. It’s a 5.2-inch, stock Android 6.0 Lollipop phone with a fingerprint scanner on the back. And maybe it’s not as high-spec’d as its bigger brother, the Nexus 6P. It’s just so, so good in the hand.

  1. Is the Nexus text molded or glued to the back? Or just printed? The only thing I really hate about my Nexus 5 is the letters falling of. The X dissappeard on my old back, bought a new one and on this, the X is starting to fall of again, plus the I part of the U.

  2. While I'm still gonna buy this phone, it would be literally PERFECT if it had slightly smaller bezels, a 5.1 inch screen, 7.4 mm thin, and 3 gb of RAM. But thats just the PERFECT Nexus. This will do.

  3. I just slapped that Wallpaper onto my Moto G. now I can fool people and make them think I have the LG Nexus 5x. lol. I don't have to upgrade now. plus I use Microsoft Bing snapshot function from the Bing Search app.

  4. Shame theres no notification LED on the spec sheet. That's a dealbreaker for me. Its also a bit bigger than the N5 which I would have been able to live with if there was a 64GB option and it had that notification LED. It seems that the technology has moved forward but the prices have moved quicker for the past few Nexus devices.

  5. Horrible design! This thing is very very ugly. The original Nexus 5 had a sharp and minimalist design. Now, it is all over the place. Two years waiting for this? I am really disapointed. 32 GB storage and 2 GB of ram is a joke.

  6. Don't like the camera bump (looks hideous),no front facing stereo speakers, no sd card slot, ultimately no sale.
So glad i updated my 1st gen Moto-G to 3rd gen. Ok, no stereo speakers, but everything else for the price is good.

  7. It really is just an updated Nexus 5. The design looks very familiar with simply a larger screen and a decrease of 1% in screen-to-body ratio. People have always said that all they wanted was a Nexus 5 with a good camera and better battery life, well this is literally it.
