We go hands-on with the newly-announced Moto X Style (or the Moto X Pure Edition, 2015). It’s bigger than before, it’s faster than before, it’s more customizable than before — but is it better? Let’s find out!

  1. Looks like this phone would be just what I would like. This thing of spending almost twice that for a bloatware loaded carrier flagship phone that is extremely slow to get any updates, especially security updates (AT&T HTC One m8), is a mistake I won't make twice. I can't fault the phone by any means, it truly is a great phone. It is just hard to swallow paying the full price for a phone and being forced to have apps I don't want and won't use and being ignored on updates when the phone isn't even out of warranty yet. Good job on the review.

  2. Moto phones are really really nicely build i love them. my only issue is their battery life. spoiled by Note series i really cant stand a phone that cant stay with me until late afternoon…
im looking forward to Moto X Syle, especially that wood one, sleek, only if it has better battery than 2014 one

  3. Thanks Android Central! I have ONE question, does the camera stick out? I have been looking very closely and I can't tell if it sticks out a bit or is perfectly aligned with the back case. I hope the back is even and it's not like the Nexus 5 or others where the camera juts out a little. Hope to hear back from you.

  4. Voice-over Guy, were you on a severe bender and only saw the message from your boss at Android Central an hour before the shoot? You barely sound like you're awake. And, ummm, maybe… a hand model next time? The closeups start to come across as a medical video 🙂

  5. Ooh… The camera and the battery life will either make or break this phone with sales. No OIS makes me wonder about the camera… It's what's kept me from buying the last two Moto x's… Let's hope they did some magic.
