I have both and g2x definitely feels faster
that the european model,the optimus 2x. the U.S version is the t mobile g2x which you have and im getting
How to get skinned I'm stuck with stupid stock someone please help me :((
whats the different between optimus 2x android type and G2X android type ?
G2x sucks
@MrEric6052 agreed ! 😀 !!
they should bench with nenamark to get proper comparison !! 🙂
@pocoyo786 flash a cm7 nightly via cwm would be your best option , it is alot faster than stock lg crap
What song is that in the background?
@thomas5395 try clearing all the memory that it's running on with an app that closes down programs and it should get to atleast 2500 or perhaps you have too many stuff installed that might have slowed it down.. but i increased mines from 1800 at first to 2500 just closing some apps i had running on the background hope this helps xD
anyone know how to put g2x gingerbread on o2x -.-
I got my g2x a month ago, out of the box, it came with 2.3.3 and I score almost 3000 on quadrant. When I rooted w/ CM Eagleblood and oc to 1.5ghz, I get a little over 4500 on quadrant. I am happy with the G2x. But not too happy with Eagleblood Rom, cause it don't support HDMI out and A2D2. Looking for new Rom..
@Zoombus same bro, sense is the sexiest android os
@jenabby09 wifi calling does not cost extra on your phone plan, it's just if you have low signal the wifi will keep the call connected
I think Motorola could learn from this lol
i got 1451 with lg optimus 2x….
@BeatDownRecordsTV you can't, the t-mobile G series only has stock android, kind of like the nexus series from Google.
@nathsgames im actually not sure….maybe i meant to reply to someone else?
already bout the g2x, how do i get the lg skin on?
@nathsgames LOL you fail
@BeatDownRecordsTV buy the Optimus 2X instead of the G2X
how do i get the lg skin?
OMG I got one of those phones LOL. Love my stock none rooted g2x.
You didn't run smartbench 2011, why. Its made for dual core.
This only proves that LG's overlay doesn't slow down Android.
it's so weird that the carrier version would come vanilla and wouldn't run the skin.
If anything you just showed how skins really don't make too much of a difference.
I think the true test is actual use of the UI, not quadrant.
Do a test of scrubbing on home screens, or a listview scrolling, or perhaps switching between similiar applications, then we can see real case testing.
This proves ui overlays don't slow down anything
@SENOR206INFIDEL Quadrant is bullshit, period.
@MrEric6052 yu got it on the G2 vs DZ
(insert galaxy s lagfix quadrant score here) lmao
You said skins would slow it down and it actually performed better on quadrant.
2X looks so much like touch wiz
Interesting that stock and the skin are running virtually the same score. I wish we had this option with other models with the same hardware. It would be interesting to see how touchwiz, blur and Sense would stack up against their stock counterparts.
1st.
