  1. I primarily shop in the used phone market, and I just wanted to say thanks for the great overview. It's still helpful 2 years after you published it.

  2. I just bought the g3 and I keep having a boxed eye figure popping up on my screen for less then a second ….does this mean im being hacked ? I have a very annoying husband whos always hacking my phones (he in Africa me in Canada hes just really insecure ) and I need to know how to stop this fr happening if this is whats happening thanks

  3. This phone G3 is one of the best devices iv used . i had samsung nd i phone before G3 is just great fluid Ul amazing battery nd (32gb) are enough for me wz no lags(3ram) super great phone love you LG

  4. How do you change your incoming  text sounds for each person, I don't see that in the edit contact  screen.   ??

  5. is the G3 still worth it? and is it possible to put stock Android Lollipop on it? I'm considering upgrading from my Nexus 4 but I'm hesitant to leave the pure Android experience. The Nexus 5 doesn't seem worth it and the Nexus 6 is way too big.

  7. I love the LG G3 and I strongly believe it's probably the best smartphone out currently, but I am having some concerns that I was curious if anyone else was experiencing?

-QSlide only works for Calculator, Video, and Calendar.

-The Charging port pin is very low and far back it works fine but I have to tuck the coord in from under carefully and then it supplies a tight fit.

-Okay Google doesn't work on my lock screen. It works fine on my other devices, but I cannot seem to get it work well on my LG G3. It does work on any screen just not the lock screen and I have no locks other than swype. When i first updated Google to support this it worked ONE time only then just stopped and never worked again.

-Turning display off did originally do the effect like the retro tv, but then it just stopped and doesn't do any effects anymore. I might of disabled something though that is causing this and will look into it.

-Smart Cleaning always freezes and crashes when I attempted to use it.

Some other things I would love for them to change would be the following:

-The quick features or what ever people call them in the notifications. I'd like for that to be a drop down similar to the Galaxy S series. They should only show your first 4 options with the 5th always being a drop down button which when dropped down a edit button appears as the last icon.

-More QSlide support it's an amazing feature and to have it work for more apps would be awesome. I love having additional screens on my phone. Would also be nice if they integrated something similar to Windows Snap features so the apps won't overlap.

-Ability to edit the volume up/down shortcuts. I see no reason we shouldn't be allowed to make this load what ever we would like. Although LG did do a good job with choosing Camera and Note+ as they are both very useful.

-The SmartTV remote needs mor e features. I cannot use it at all on my TV do to FiOS requires you to hit the Menu button. I did also like how there was a lot of customization with this remote over the Galaxy S remote. There may be a menu support, but I looked quite a bit without finding it. Would be nice to add create your own button with unique IR codes.

-More Camera features. I felt it was actually lacking quite a bit in that area. Yeah the camera is amazing, but it's mostly amazing for its near perfect quick focusing. There isn't however a lot you can do with it other than take pictures and no other camera apps will perform nearly as well as LG's software. I really liked Moto X's Google's Camera, but it works terribly on the LG G3 and I loved the Samsung Galaxy S4 / S5's feature enriched options.

My memory is terrible so I may have forgotten some things have a good day.

  8. Just got this phone and so far all I can really say is wow. it's great. I just came from an iPhone 5 and it was a good idea still getting to know it coming from ios and all, but overall very happy with it.

  9. Right now the 1440p is not that useful but after a year or two YouTube would have made 1440p videos able to be watched on a phone and a lot of apps for the pixel density Wil be released so like damn lg they really Really thought this out and the know what they are doing I'm going to be buying this in a month

  10. Im not sure how many of you know this but if you dont like the lg ui you can download different ui's from lg's smart world and there is a actual setting on the phone itself that allows you to change the ui without downloading different launchers
